The Teacher Qualification Test in English as a Second Language Teaching is a computer-based
test designed to measure candidates’ knowledge of basic concepts related to language teaching and learning rather than their proficiency in the English language.
Test sections, questions, and options are randomized. Sections and subsections of the test are timed
by the computer. Test takers can see how much time they have throughout the test.
